The introductory section details airfield weather broadcasts, LARS units (with map), MATZ Units and, as part of the AOPA safety initiative, lists those airfields that offer free landings to diverting aircraft.
The main part of the guide gives GPS Lat/Long co-ordinates and basic data for:
Airfields
Every active airfield marked on the CAA 1:500 000 series charts is listed, a total of nearly 800 UK airfields. Each entry is given with its ICAO code (where allocated), initial radio contact frequency and GPS Lat/Long co-ordinates.
Navaids
All enroute navaids are listed alphabetically by name, with their identification letters, frequency, Morse decode and GPS Lat/Long co-ordinates.
Towns
All significant towns over 2 sq. km in size are listed with their GPS Lat/Long co-ordinates.
VRPs and Disused Airfields
All Visual Reference Points (VRPs) and all disused airfields marked on the current CAA 1:500 000 charts are listed with their GPS Lat/Long co-ordinates.
Gliding sites and BGA Turning Points
Gliding sites and over 600 official BGA turning points are given with their code, visual reference and GPS Lat/Long co-ordinates.
